Cleveland crowd fears actor Joseph Haworth perished in Windsor hotel fire after he last hinted at leaving Atlantic City for New York with Rev. F P Moore. Relatives received no word until a Philadelphia dispatch says he checked into Hotel Lafayette after traveling from Atlantic City.
Huntsville Alabama March 20 The tornado hit the northern part of Madison county causing extensive damage to homes and farm property with no lives reported lost so far. Passengers arriving from the north say people rush to stations seeking physicians for the injured as damage in the southern part of Tennessee remains unestimated.
Miners arriving in Seattle from Copper River Alaska report Governor Brady has been asked to request government aid to send a vessel to Copper River to recover two or three hundred stranded prospectors. Many lack funds for transportation and suffer from scurvy.
Owensboro Kentucky report states Dr. C P Lace has accepted the call to serve at the First Presbyterian church in Anderson Indiana. The move shifts a local clergy member from Kentucky to a midwestern parish, reflecting a new assignment in the regional church leadership.
New York reports a Windsor hotel blaze left two charred bodies in the debris on March 21. A missing woman named Jennie McKenna is accounted for with minor burns. Rescue crews and crowds watched as 300 laborers were stood down and then replaced by another 300 while slow excavation continued.

In Lare Epo Texas on Monday morning two men were killed and a captain of the state rangers was wounded in a clash with Mexican men over a smallpox dispute.
