Injured: Joseph Clorenchick Bula Plossoca Joseph Verostic Stephen Veico Mike Colwell Andrew Luda John Buloak. Buloak severely burned. Chrenchick feet nearly blown off may require amputation.
Hon Moses Mordecai died today in Baltimore at eighty five. A native of South Carolina he represented the state in the United States Senate for two terms before the rebellion. This obituary notes his long service and Southern roots.

An explosion was attempted at Frank Heinman s house in Roscog N Y tonight. The residence was badly shattered and Mrs Heinman was burned. Authorities suspect Confederates of Louis B Schuster, tied to past counterfeiting, aimed to kill Heinman to keep him silent. Schuster s adopted daughter Mrs Weinmann lives with him.
Washington December 26 The President granted a pardon in the case of Bishop A A Kimball who was convicted at the September term of the first district court of Utah for adultery and sentenced to eight months in prison The pardon follows representations that Kimball is in an advanced stage of consumption and would not long survive his present surroundings
Charles C. Tinkler, a boy forger, wrote a confession implicating William D. Hopkins, son of Ben Hopkins. Tinkler waived examination and was bound over for $30,000. Young Hopkins is in custody. his father has heard nothing and fears news could be fatal.
In Coffee County Georgia a few days ago a man disturbing public worship was killed by the church pastor. Names are not yet learned. Ongoing trouble divides factions over retaining or dismissing the present pastor.
ST PETERSBURG December 26 The second inquiry into the recent accident to the Czar s train at Borki attributes the disaster to a criminal conspiracy. All recently discharged railway employees will shortly be arrested.
