Three hundred bodies of soldiers from the burying and once Island were yesterday deposited in new fins in the National Catamber and Newtown. Some of the remains barked nearly one hundred years ago.

After a morning quarrel Doran allegedly stabbed Catharine in the kitchen and drank her blood from a cup before being arrested. He admitted the act and said he threw the shoemaker knife. Mrs. Doran is expected to die.

Centralia Illinois February 15 Frank Alexander an employee at Sadler's Opera house dropped dead at Prill's Hotel last night of heart disease He had been a soldier and had received notification he would soon get back pay
Cincinnati dated February 15. Bail of John B. Mannix, former assignee of Archbishop Purcell, dropped from 110000 to 30000. Mannix posted bond and was released. Charge listed as embezzlement.
County Clerk Dan Dalton was arrested by the Ohio House Committee on Privileges and Elections for contempt after he refused to permit a photographic copy of a tally sheet from Cincinnati Fourth Ward and did not produce the original returns. A resolution threatened thirty days in jail unless he furnishes the returns. Dalton was released on a writ of habeas corpus with $5,000 bail for appearance and a hearing the next day.
