Ohio State Altman a 60 year old widow living at Ne North Sesoto street claims two men entered her house while she was alone. They tied her to a stove and to a stove leg with strings and wrists, ransacked the house and stole 50 cents before leaving. She fainted and was helped to the door.
In Cleveland, Colton, 45, shot his wife Clarissa, 53, and then killed himself in the head after entering their bedroom around 3 AM Friday. Mrs. Gertrude Hatsch and another visitor heard the shots and saw Colton fall to the bed before turning the gun on himself. The report notes efforts to aid the injured wife as bystanders called for help.
