A five story building at Main street and Park avenue housing the St. Louis Refrigerator and Wooden Cutter Manufacturing Co. was partially destroyed by fire on Monday. Loss estimated at $60,000 to building and contents, partially insured. Two firemen and a boy injured by falling walls but not fatally hurt.
Allan A Dut ton a real estate speculator and brother of Stephen A Dut ton and Simon W Dut ton was arrested in Hoboken on Monday. He is wanted for falsely obtaining the signature of Mrs Marcella Costigan of Brooklyn to a deed for property valued at 2500 in Bellport L L
Anthany New York April 13 assembly passes Greater New York charter bill over Mayor Strong veto by a 10 to 32 vote.
Washington April 12 The Senate faces a foggy outlook with reorganization debates likely consuming time. Four major questions stand: the Morgan Cuban resolution bankruptcy bill the Anglo American arbitration treaty and the operation bills. Senator Davis hopes for treaty consideration but absence of senators may block votes. House plans three day adjournments as Jerry Simpson pressures quorum to stall the journal.

On Sunday in Chattanooga John H. Atkinson, 17, son of Governor W Y Atkinson of Georgia, wed Ada Byrd, 16, daughter of C P Byrd of Atlanta. Rev Henry McDonald of Second Baptist in Atlanta officiated. Witnesses included Gov Atkinson, Mr and Mrs Byrd, Judge Spencer Atkinson of the Georgia supreme court, and Charles P Northe, assistant clerk of the Georgia senate.
