The Warnes tax law shifts listing day to the day before the first Monday of February. Tobacco growers in Miamilton Montgomery Preble Darke and Greene counties now list and pay the tax themselves at the warehouses in Cincinnati rather than the buyers. This change affects where and when the annual tax on crops is paid.
