Storm Damage and Community Notices in Local County
A cyclone caused major damage across the county with ruined tobacco sheds timber and fruit trees and possible livestock losses. Despite heavy rain, community events proceeded including Patterson commencement with 16 graduates, Children’s Day at the Presbyterian church, and a late summer Fourth of July planning note.
