The community attended a dialogue debate between Hall and Sommers on the wet and dry issue before state voters. The dry side prevailed as arguments dismantled the wet case, favoring dry principles for the November election.
The Mayor and the Darke County Agricultural Society direct traffic controls for the county fair August 28 to 27. Motor routes will pass central avenue Martz Street to the north gate, return via Martz and Central. others go over Central to Fair Street east gate and back. Police will guide the public. public cooperation requested. Also probate notices, marriage licenses, new cases and transfers listed from Greenville Ohio records.
