Cox booster for state fair urged for Ohio youths

Governor Cox champions Ohio State Fair as a premier agricultural institution. He urges sending rural children to Columbus to learn, observe livestock, fruits, and grains, and plans to keep his office open to visitors during the fair. He will likely visit and speak there, supporting farm prosperity.

Food conservation at the Ohio State Fair emphasis

The Ohio State Fair at Columbus will feature daily demonstrations on food preservation and scientific feeding to aid war time needs. Lectures, literature, and cash prizes over 3000 dollars promote farming and gardening, with free admission for soldiers in uniform and for older veterans on Friday. Farmers will inspect tractors and farming equipment highlighted during the fair.
