Gondolier Bicentennial Edition earns top FPA honors
The Gondolier, a bi weekly newspaper, won second place in Best Special Issue for issues over 5 000 circulation and third for best use of color in the total paper in the Florida Press Association contest. The Bicentennial Edition dated July 1 1976 featured tri color front and included a Venice 1926 reprint supplement. Almost 1 000 entries from 70 weekly papers competed, up from prior years.
