Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced a new public integrity unit to oversee and highlight investigative work on election integrity. The unit will form next week and may employ investigators after the General Election, amid concerns over confidence in electoral processes and lingering claims of fraud.
Medina County Sheriff Terry Grice and Capt. Kevin Ross met visitors at the Marigold Wellness café for National Coffee with a Cop Day. They discussed safety and community concerns while guests enjoyed mugs bearing the sheriff's office logo.

Wadsworth officials announced another delay in the Route 57 and Seville Road roundabout project at a city council meeting. The finish date moved from this week to October 19 due to contractor and material delays, with light poles and concrete work still to come and weather or delivery issues possible.
Two Central Intermediate School students Savannah Whited and Emma Warner urged Wadsworth City Council to move trick or treating from October 31 to October 29. They argued Monday Halloween clashes with sports and school the next day, and asked the mayor to meet with them after the meeting.
