Production payroll gains lift Ohio in April
Ohio production payrolls rose 10 percent in April from 1977 per the Ohio State University Center for Business and Economic Research. All 11 manufacturing sectors gained with vehicle makers up 18 percent and textiles up 16 percent. Seven of eight metro areas reported increases. Youngstown-Mahoning declined 12 percent year over year and 5 percent in four months.
