Medina Finance Committee approves extra full time dispatcher
The Medina Finance Committee unanimously approved a council action to amend the salary and benefits code to add one full time dispatcher to the Medina Police Department roster. Chief Ed Kinney said the move would relieve workload during call-offs vacations and sick time as surrounding towns grow. The action moves to a future City Council meeting for a vote.
