Monster of Spell helps kids learn to read through play
A Newport Beach mother Janette Moss developed a step by step method to teach reading using a "Monster of Spell" that turns into letters and words. Her book Insure That Your child Will Read outlines 15 minutes daily of imaginative, motivating activities. The method emphasizes positive reinforcement and self confidence, with plans for Sesame Street style visibility and a Sesame Street style monster on TV and in a hardcover book.
