Patriots Symphonic Band to perform West Side Story show
The 75 member volunteer Patriots Symphonic Band presents its annual spring concert tonight at Lorain County Community College Hoke Theatre featuring material from West Side Story and Broadway musicals. Band president Kurt Schalkhauser notes audience enjoyment and neighbor performers. Formed 45 years ago, the group began as a marching band and evolved into a concert band with regional performances across Northeast Ohio.
