The Chippewa Lake Baptist Church plans final services at their current refited building and will hold worship in Gloria Glens Village Hall while a new church on Chippewa Road is built. They own nine acres with option on adjacent land, and face state jurisdiction in Ohio building matters. Rev. Schultz leads the congregation organized in 1971 with Rev. Donald Cummings noting remodel plans by Barth Lentini of Florida. The old EUB building on Rt 19 and 50 dates to 1881.

Volunteers from Medina area churches plan a religious census on Sunday May 20. Each church will recruit 35 callers for canvassing teams of two across denominations. Training sessions are set for May 14 15 and 16 at 7 30 p m in the Medina United Methodist Church.
