Granger Township to seek renewals for road and fire levies
Granger Township trustees voted to place two five year renewals on the November 5 general election ballot. Fiscal Officer Donald Baker cited Medina County Auditor data showing the 0.5 mill road levy would generate about 98 800 annually and cost a $100 000 home about 10 30 yearly if renewed while the 1 5 mill fire levy would yield about 296 400 annually costing a $100 000 home about 30 88 yearly. Renewals would begin in 2025 with collection in 2026 and would not raise mills. Trustees unanimously authorized Baker to move forward with the renewal process and to have the prosecutor prepare resolutions of necessity.
