Litchfield Scholarship Fund Established
A $1,000 gift from the John Sobel estate starts a Litchfield scholarship for local students pursuing further education. Recipients are chosen annually by the Litchfield Scholarship Fund Committee chaired by Vincent Yambrovich with Dorothy Fletcher as secretary treasurer and others as members. A further $100 gift arrived from a local service group and more donations are welcome. contact committee members for information.
