Medina County Time Capsule to Honor 175th Fair Anniversary
Medina County Fair Board and commissioners filled a wall vault with a time capsule marking the 175th fair. Items include a Root Candle, a flip phone, Billy Joel CD, hand sanitizers, masks, County Engineer Andrew Conrad maps, and County Historian Steve Hambley’s Historic Tales of Medina Ohio. Swedyk and Feron consulted locals to reflect the era while ensuring fragile items are wrapped. The capsule will be sealed and installed in the courthouse wall with a possible exterior marker for future discovery.
