Lupita Nyong'o Shines In Quiet Place Day One Prequel
Nyong'o anchors the prequel as terminal cancer patient Samira joining survivors in New York City. The film blends peril and quiet character drama with a cat named Frodo and a mix of jump scares, aiming for a weightier, cinema-leaning tone amid invasion chaos.

Costner Pursues Theaters With Horizon Debut Avoiding Yellowstone
Kevin Costner favors cinema for Horizon over a TV series, portraying Hayes Ellison and guiding a frontier saga. He explains his late arrival in the film and confirms he won’t return to Yellowstone Season 5b, as early reviews mix and box office projections sit around 10 to 12 million in the opening.

Horizon review paints a sprawling but disjointed frontier saga
The Horizon script weaves 1863 story strands around a cursed land, with Apache and settler clashes, a widowed mother and daughter at risk, revenge plots, and a wagon train toward Horizon. The film tethers Costner’s presence to a patchwork, surface shallow characters, and a melodramatic tone.
