Valley City hosts amateur radio gathering at Mill Stream Park
North Coast Amateur Radio Club holds its annual field day at Mill Stream Park with five antennas set up inside the pavilion to connect with operators across the country and the world. Doug McClure of the Medina County Amateur Radio Club notes the club roots back to the 1930s, with 64 current members and active cooperation with Medina County ARES and the Medina County Emergency Management Agency for emergency communications and event support.
