One dead after officer involved shooting in Wadsworth
A man with a handgun threatening suicide was shot on Durling Drive Tuesday night. Officers and EMS attempted lifesaving measures but he died at the scene. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation will handle the inquiry. the involved officers are on leave. The incident is not linked to the Blue Tip festival.

Brunswick Schools again seek renewal levy on November ballot
Brunswick Board of Education votes to place an approximately 2 mill emergency renewal levy on the November ballot to raise about 3.2 million annually for 10 years. If approved, a $100,000 home would pay about 70 dollars yearly. the levy accounts for 4 percent of the district budget and would preserve existing services.
