Medina Hardware to Close After 150 Years of Local Service
Stephenson plans to close Medina Hardware after decades at the store started by his family in 1932. He recalls loyal customers, decades of work, and says the community will miss a local staple as he aims to liquidate stock with discounts while hoping to sell off remaining merchandise. He joined as a seventh grader in 1972 and took ownership in 1995. He looks forward to time at his farm and rental properties, and awaits his first grandchild in September.
