U S regulators authorize Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for children under five, with about 18 million young kids eligible. Advisory panels swiftly back the two-dose Moderna and three-dose Pfizer regimens as CDC guidance and final signoff loom.
Medina County Health Department expects to receive Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for children under five on or after Tuesday. Three doses for Pfizer and two for Moderna will be provided. A June 30 clinic is planned pending state ordering and CDC approval, with appointments for under two still pending.
More than 60 participants joined a yoga with goats fundraiser for Peyton Dumont, a 3-year-old in Akron area hospitals. Peyton, found unconscious May 10 by father Mike Dumont, was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor after CT scans and surgery reduced brain fluid.
