Judy Rankin Opens With 70 In Windswept LPGA Open
Medina reporter Ken Canfield notes Judy Rankin, one of the tour’s smallest players, shoots a 2 under 70 to lead the Lawson's LPGA Open at Weymouth Valley. Winds and slick greens slow scoring as top pros like Mann Germain Breer Alcott and Whitworth chase. The 84-player field heads to a cut to low 60 and ties for Sunday’s final.
