Arts and education programs aid detained youth in Wadsworth
Jaclyn Balliet and Access the Arts coordinate enrichment for youths at a detention center with art, music, gardening, and a book club led by local volunteers. Programs resumed virtually after COVID-19, with Cheri Smith and Rolando Pizana delivering art and music sessions. Community groups plan further activities while many local requirements address safety and donations.
