Spencer-Black River High School capped the year with an honors assembly naming six students recognized for district or state ranking in Ohio Scholastic Achievement Tests. Dennis Dria led in chemistry, Thomas Scheck and Barbara Bedeski earned top district and state standings, with several other seniors and juniors cited in English, French, and social studies along with perfect attendance awards to eight freshmen and multiple sophomores.
