Roundabout detours loom at Medina County intersection
Montville Township prepares for an Ohio Department of Transportation roundabout at Routes 162 and 3 in Montville. Construction begins June 15, with at least two and a half months of road closures. The $1 million project aims to reduce crashes and improve traffic flow, potentially cutting fatal and injury crashes by 87 percent. Local business owner Tom Shelly of Brothers Antique Mall notes a single lane will remain open at one driveway to serve customers. Detours and patience urged for residents and visitors.
