Capitol Riot Inquiry Expands Cabinet Witness Shifts Toward 25th Amendment
The House Jan 6 committee says it will interview more former Cabinet secretaries and may subpoena Virginia Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, as it deepens its probe into Donald Trump’s role in the Capitol riot. Lawmakers aim to interview additional cabinet members, discuss invoking the 25th Amendment, and consider possible referrals while preparing September hearings to air findings.
