Brecksville's Towpath Hiking Trail in Cleveland Metroparks Brecksville is designated a national recreation trail joining the National Trails System. The 2.5 mile segment follows the old Ohio and Erie Canal towpath once linking Portsmouth to Lake Erie and supporting freight and passenger traffic.
