Browns to Build Around Mayfield While Exploring Upgrades
Browns general manager Andrew Berry says he fully expects Baker Mayfield to start in 2022 but will explore options to improve the position. Offensive line issues persist with Wills and Conklin injuries, while the receiving corps may overhaul including Landry departure and a rookie year push for Jones and Schwartz. Denzel Ward is a cornerstone at corner, and special teams require more risk-taking and a solid kicker/punters situation.
