At Grace Church in Middlebury Heights the funeral of Officer Shane Bartek 25 was held as his twin Summer Bartek recalled their childhood walkie talkies nicknamed Peanut Butter and Jelly. Bartek slain Dec 31 in a west side parking lot. A suspect 18 Tamara McLoyd faces aggravated murder charges. Bartek who joined the force in 2019 was remembered as a true public servant who read to children and connected with people.
