Medina County plans two more courtrooms on the third floor of the new courthouse with juvenile probation and juvenile court occupying the fourth floor area and probate on the opposite side. The 1841 courthouse will host the domestic relations court on two floors while public access to the 1841 building remains via a north walkway on floors two and three. Construction progress includes occupancy certificates for floors one and two, with third and fourth floors expected by December 30, and January move-in planning due to elevator work. About $25.4 million has been spent to date, with renovations to follow on the 1841 courthouse anticipated to finish in summer.
