Medina man posing as missing child sentenced to prison
Brian Rini, 25, formerly of Medina, pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft and received a 24 month sentence in the Southern District of Ohio. He had claimed to be missing boy Timmothy Pitzen in 2019, was examined at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and later admitted identity deception after DNA and fingerprints confirmed his true identity.
