Brunswick considers nursing home expansion rules
Brunswick's Planning Commission will soon discuss nursing home expansion to fit area needs. Monday night the City Council moved ordinances to second reading and sent them back to the commission. Four ordinances would remove convalescent care facilities from being conditionally permitted in several zoning districts. Councilman Joe Delsanter cites the comprehensive plan noting the need to control the growth of nursing homes within the city.
