Silent Night movie review pans dialogue-free action
The dialogue-free film Silent Night directed by John Woo is a failed experiment. It substitutes visuals for human humor and relies on a right wing Death Wish style plot about a father’s vigilante revenge. Joel Kinnaman leads a mutely driven performance amid stylized gun battles and surreal sequences.

Silent Night film review critique and rating
A 1.5 star out of 4 rating for Silent Night marks it as overly grim and tiring. The R rated thriller relies on brutal violence and relentless noise with little humor or character depth. Stereotypes replace humanity as characters like Brian become mere archetypes, lacking dialogue or genuine motivation.
