Traveling farm animals entertain Heritage Farm visitors
Local farmer Dave Goodyear known as Uncle Dave brought ducks rabbits a calf a goat and other animals to Heritage Farm Museum and Park for a Sunday farmers market interaction. He owns Spring Mist Farms and a traveling farm that visits local families to share his animals.

Valley City street fair winds down summer with music
Valley City marking its 87th annual street fair over the weekend with food games and family activities. Center Road was closed to traffic for vendors and attractions while the fire department fundraisers supported equipment needs. Friday opened with Buckeye High School marching band and a Metro Life Flight flyover. About 50 vendors registered though weather caused no-shows. cornhole drew 42 to 44 teams with travelers from Marietta. Sunday focused on Kids Day with animal show by 2 Gals and Their Farm Pals.

Wrappin' Osborne hosted its second annual Plant and Art Festival at 9259 Zimmerman Road in Homerville. Vendors sold plants and ceramics while musicians performed. proceeds support Whispering Grace Horses in Canal Fulton which runs a trauma therapy program with six horses at its Freedom Farm.
