Medina South Town Music Festival brings local artists to Main Street
Medina’s South Town District hosts the second annual festival with noon to 7 p.m. performances across multiple venues, a Mill Street street fair noon to 5 p.m., and the interactive Every Piece Matters tile project for kids. At 5 p.m. the rally continues at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore with Collin Husbands starting the concert.

Medina County reports 432 initial unemployment claims for the week ending Aug 12, 51 fewer than the prior week, with a four week average around 498 and a year ago figure of 70. Lorain County shows 571 claims for Aug 12, up 27 from the prior week, with a four week average near 512 and a year ago total of 208.
