Medina Demolishes Historic District Building Monday
A two story yellow residence at 277 S Court St in Medina's historic district was demolished after the Historic Preservation Board found it unsafe and uneconomical to repair. Built in the late 1800s, the structure moved to the site around 1904 and sits near Smith Road. Craig Sturgill, who owns adjacent parcels, had hoped to renovate both properties while a separate hotel project remains nearby.
