The board unanimously okayed hiring the firm after learning four projects were completed using a precise computer process on a critical path. Supt Charles Hawley said conditions look favorable for release of the next step as the manager plans every detail.
Officials said funds for the Medina County project will move soon as a representative spends Thursday in Columbus to advance the angle. State vocational departments approved the school plans after confirming five areas of concern were developed with public help and workers. Hawley reported the property title is now on file.
Officials warn tax could affect about 4000 workers in Medina and fund a new city hall while police and recreation would receive portions. The measure, defeated in 1966 and 1971, would apply to residents and workers with credits for other wage taxes and a mill reduction offset.
Cub Scout Pack 3513 will collect papers from August 16 to 21. Drop off behind St. Ambrose Church on Pearl Road north of Brunswick Center, with pickup arranged by calling 225-6819.
