Medina gets 168k FAA grant for airport master plan update
Medina Municipal Airport will receive 168,750 dollars from the Federal Aviation Administration to update its master airport plan and airport layout plan. Airport Manager Greg Huber and Law Director spoke at the March 14 Finance meeting and March 28 City Council seeking authorization to apply. The FAA covers 75 to 95 percent of eligible costs. the grant is expected to fund about 90 percent of the report and update. Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown praised the funding as improving safety, operations, and travel for residents and businesses.
