DeWine Opposes Ballot Measure On Mapmaking Reform In Ohio
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said he will work to defeat a full ballot issue aimed at remaking the state's mapmaking system. He urged lawmakers to back a competing Iowa style amendment, arguing the proposal would produce gerrymandered districts and undermine governance objectives. Maureen O'Connor criticized him for spreading disinformation and offered to meet to discuss the measure. See DEWINE, A6.
