June 12. Russians blocked freight shipments from western zones of Germany during the night but agreed to restore traffic to Berlin US and British officials said. An American official noted talks on Berlin freight will be held Monday with Russian, American, British and French transport leaders. Gen. Lucius D. Clay said he would reinstate the Frankfurt Berlin Air Ferry if needed to supply the city. Trains from western zones must pass the Soviet zone border checkpoint at Berlin.
