Drew Frank Paddy Brennan and fifteen others helped keep the train off the damaged track. The flouring mill valued at $25,000 lay in ruins and merchant Henry Byers reported extensive stock destruction.
President Menindes died suddenly last night after the banquet marking General Menindes' fifth anniversary in San Salvador and the defeat of the Islamac faction. Panic followed as General Mercow and others were killed at the bar racks, with General Carlos Ezstas now in command.
Ottawa reports the US Congress amended the tariff bill reducing lumber duty to 1 per thousand feet. The government will receive the export duty on saw logs.
