Small Music Groups Join In Various Pre Easter Activities

Small groups helped pre Easter convocations with a mix of performances. The mixed octet sang on March 3, the triple trio on March 10, and the sextet on March 17 and March 24 closing with the Lenten hymn I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked. The trio sang at Park school PTA on March 4 and for Kiwanis on March 10. They performed Tico Tico and Easter Parade at the nine party held at the Methodist Church on March 21 and joined the Woman's Club program on March 25.

Twenty Band Members Enter Peru Clinic Today

Twenty students were accepted for the MINK Band Clinic held at Peru today. The group includes Doyle, Austen, Jim Chatelain, Betty McKay, Bob Kenney, Bill Nuckolls, Willis Else, Bob Earhart, Dick Sleigh, Bill Shainburg, Richard Chirnside, Dorothy Thompson, Richard Berry, Marlene Whited, JoAnn McDonald, Donnabelle Knobel, Bar Fern Schmitt, Allen Wood, Jeanette Hayes, and Betty Foust.

Hi Y Plans Annual Mother Son Banquet

At the Fairbury Hi Y club meeting on March 20 plans for the forthcoming Hi Y dance and the annual mother and son banquet were discussed. The banquet is set for April 20 at the Methodist Church with Bill Shamburg and Ronald Lind as general chairmen and Meewen as program chairman.
