Death of Frank W. Shearon Funeral Held in Fairbury
Frank Wilburn Shearon, born September 19 1878 in Jefferson County Nebraska, died December 14 1910 in Santa Fe New Mexico. He married Louise M Glazier January 27 1904 in Edgar Nebraska. He held posts in New Mexico including Assistant Commissioner of Public Lands Assistant Attorney General postmaster of Santa Fe and district court clerk. He leaves a father Jas T Shearon mother, a wife Louise, and brothers Harry Daykin and Charles Fairbury. Funeral services were held at 803 Third Street with Rev E B Taft. interment in Fairbury Cemetery.

Miss Margaret Jansen, daughter of Hon. and Mrs. Peter Jansen of this city, was operated on for appendicitis at the Methodist hospital in Omaha yesterday by Dr. Jones. She showed courage, walked to the table smiling, and a telephone message said she was recovering nicely and likely to regain health.

Assault case filed against Fritz Humfeld in county court
Fritz Humfeld was arraigned in county court last Tuesday morning on an assault charge for allegedly striking Henry Arndt in the neck with an axe over land disputes in front of Humfeld's house. Arndt, the road commissioner, and Humfeld have been in dispute, trial set for Wednesday, December 28.
