Test of Rector Automatic Cream Separator at Fairbury Dairy Farm
In Fairbury Nebraska on May 21 1901 witnesses certify a test of the Rector Automatic Cream Separator. Fifty pounds of fresh milk were processed in forty five minutes with clear separation of cream and milk. Cream weighed a stated amount and was wheeled away as milk was drawn off. Participants include John Hartigan mayor C R Slack dairyman Mrs Slack F L Nielsen and others.
