E. L. Koenig visited Fairbury on Tuesday while Henry Diekman conducted business in Beatrice on Wednesday. Henry Jantzen Jr. of six miles southeast remains gravely ill with stomach cancer. G. A. Weichel reports Fairbury not a dry town. The area has recorded 54 inches of rail since last Saturday, totaling 10 inches of rain over the past two weeks.

The commissioner overseeing Public Road No. 152 proposes changing its route from the northeast corner of the southeast quarter to follow a new path west 8 rods, north 35 rods, and east 3 rods to the current western line, with objections or damage claims due by noon Sept 1, 1902 in the county clerk's office. County Clerk W. S. Dives of Arbury, Neb. announces the report in June 1902.
