Mrs Caroline M Hill widow of Goodwin J Trill died February 10 1899 at her daughter Mrs J M Jackson home in the city aged 60 years and 10 days. She helped settle Jefferson County since 1870 and resided in Alexandria after her husband’s 1885 death. Surviving children include M W Hill Eureka precinct and Mrs Jackson this city, with two sons elsewhere. Funeral held in Alexandria after a Saturday removal. heartfelt thanks issued to those offering sympathy.
