Missouri Pacific wreck injures passengers near Jefferson City
A Missouri Pacific express bound for St Louis derailed near St Auberth Missouri fifteen miles east of Jefferson City after striking a broken rail at 3 AM. Ten to fifteen passengers were wounded. One coach and two sleeping cars plunged twenty five feet down an embankment. No lives were lost. Several wounded were taken to Hermann and St Louis.
